Nurturing Safety for the Littlest Ones

Currently, our daycare program provides a safe, nurturing environment for six young children aged 1-3. For families in rural Cambodia, where parents often need to work long hours to make ends meet, our daycare offers peace of mind. Parents can focus on earning a living, knowing that their children are in a secure space, cared for and engaged in meaningful activities.However, this is just the beginning. While we are proud to support these six children, the need in our community is far greater.

Community Challenges: The Reality for Many Children

In the rural areas surrounding Siem Reap, childhood development faces significant challenges. Many parents work in the fields or on construction sites, leaving their young children alone or in the care of elderly grandparents who may not have the energy or resources to provide active supervision. This lack of proper care not only affects the children's safety but also limits their opportunities to grow and develop in a stimulating environment.

We envision a future where no child is left behind—where every child in our community has access to early childhood education and a space that fosters their physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. But to achieve this vision, we need more resources to expand and improve our daycare services.

What We Need:

To truly address these challenges, we need your support to create a more enriching environment for our youngest learners. Specifically, we are seeking:

‍Specialized Toys: Developmentally appropriate toys and educational materials to encourage learning through play. These tools will help children improve their motor skills, creativity, and social interaction.

‍Shaded Playground: A safe, shaded outdoor space where children can enjoy fresh air, engage in physical activities, and develop their strength and coordination in a protected environment.

With these additions, we can create a space that not only keeps children safe but also supports their holistic development.
